| What it means | Lemon squeezers look like a short fat rocket stuck to a saucer. There is an egg shaped bit in the middle with grooves along the sides, and a bowl bit under it to catch the juice. Cut the lemon in half and press each half down on the central bump, then twist firmly from side to side. You don't have to use a lemon squeezer if you don't have one. Just cut the lemon in half and squeeze it in your hand. Hold it over a bowl to catch the juice - then remove any pips before you add the juice to the mixture. |
